Our newly established property Old Kentucky Blondes, set in the beautiful rolling hills of Londrigan in the Ovens Valley, runs famed Blonde d'Aquitaine cattle. We sell our restaurant quality prime beef to customers in Melbourne and all parts of Victoria through our online butcher shop and exclusive retail outlet in Wangaratta.

Old Kentucky Blondes provides the bulk of the award winning premium quality prime meat we sell online through Londrigan Beef and Lamb. If needed we occassionaly source meat from other local quality breeders. We sell bulk prime quality meats at wholesale prices direct from the farm to your kitchen.

prime quality meats delivered in Melbourne All our stock are cared for on a personalised basis, with daily inspection of each mob to ensure they are all in good condition. All our livestock are guaranteed Hormone Growth Promotant (HGP) Free and reared using sound environmental practices.

Blonde d'Aquitaine cattle are having a huge impact on the Australian beef industry. With a very docile temperament, stress levels, one of the keys to meat quality, is kept to very low levels. When this approuch is married to a green and clean environment featuring natural food and high quality water supply, the result is outstanding beef for the consumer.

At Old Kentucky we incorporate a paddock rotation system to ensure maximum growth opportunities and a supplementary feed system for calves to cover the event of lack of green grass - a highly unlikely scenario in this part of the world.
All meat is initially processed at our local abattoir, meaning minimum food miles, less stress and better quality meat. Further processing takes place at a local PrimeSafe facility, again as a guarantee of optimum quality conditions, with an emphasis on minimal fat coverage and marbling.

Beef then undergoes a 21 day Dry Ageing process, adding even further to the tenderness and quality of the end product.

Finally transport to your door is arranged using fully refrigerated, PrimeSafe accredited transport, with a 7 to 28 day time frame from the date your online order is placed until your meat is delivered. Delivery to Melbourne and other parts of VIC and NSW.
